Pastor Allen brings Part 15 of Questions of the Master. Just like the device used for televisions, the audience we perform for, are those who hold the power. Turning Things Around takes two major changes. 1. Determine the Main Character of your story. 2. Defining the Main Audience for the life you're living.
Pastor Allen Takes us to Mark 5:1-20 in Part 14 of Questions of the Master. We first look at the truth that We limit ourselves when we under estimate what Jesus can do in and through our lives and wrap up with the reality the God has Plans and Power for us, if we only surrender to His Authority.
We look at Luke 10:25-35, the story of the good Samaritan. Two Questions of Jesus to Consider: "What is written in the Law?" He replied."How do you read it?" Luke 10:26
Most Christians get caught up with what they don't know instead of practicing what they do know. Like the expert in the law, we are quick to justify ourselves for why we aren't doing more. Who are we in the Story? Pastor Allen offers a unique perspective.
Pastor Allen continues with Questions of the Master Part 12 and takes us to Hebrew 11. In Luke 12 :25-26 there are two questions of Jesus to consider. Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to your life? Since you cannot do this very little thing, why do you worry about the rest? We all must keep the faith through the most difficult of times.
Pastoral Candidate, Sean Martin, leads us to Colossians 1:25-29.Christ is our hope of glory. In Him we are one and strive to bring others to Jesus for His glory.
This is part 9 of Pastor Allen's Questions of the Master series. Do People ever surprise you? (They're not what you expected) Could it be that God isn't completely as you assume Him to be? As we look at two questions in Luke 15:4 & 8, we may be surprised at how God responds to us as mere people.
